How To Play

Below you will find information for each of the games we play at Thunder Bay Community Bingo. Game information current as of Jan 10-2012

Pocket Slot Tickets

Break open bingo event tickets are sold at each session and once a full box is sold out, the caller will announce that the game will be played along with a specified game in the regular program. Instant win cash prizes are paid out to the winners and ‘hold’ tickets containing 3 bingo balls are held and played when the caller announces the sales are complete and the game is being played.

G-Ball

  • The game is played by calling numbers from the Bingo Blower until there is a winner declared on the full card pattern of the G-Ball game.  The first ‘G’ ball drawn from the bingo blower at the commencement of the G-Ball game becomes the ‘Indicator Number’.
  • The G-Ball Main Game Prize of $1,000.00 shall be awarded to the first person or persons achieving the full card in the exact number of calls indicated on the first G-Ball drawn. If a full-card winner is verified prior to the declared ‘G-Ball’ number, a consolation prize of $300.00 will be paid and if a full-card winner is verified after the declared ‘G-Ball’ number, a consolation prize of $200.00 will be paid.

It then goes up one number each day until a winner is declared.  If a winner is not declared within the designated number of calls, the full card game continues, until a winner is declared, with a consolation prize of $500.00

Twoonie Progressive

Prior to the commencement of each bingo event, a bingo ball shall be drawn from the bingo blower. This number is known as the ‘Indicator Number’. The Indicator Number is clearly shown to all players and then returned to the bingo blower. The purpose of the Indicator Number is to alert participating players that the number drawn immediately after the Indicator Number will be the ‘Twoonie Progressive Number”. The Progressive Game prize shall be awarded to the player or players achieving the winning combination of numbers when the Twoonie Progressive Number is called. In the event that the Twoonie Progressive Prize is not awarded during a session, the prize is carried over to the next licensed session. When the prize has reached the $5,000.00 maximum, a ‘Must Go’ game shall be played. If the maximum $5,000.00 is reached prior to the calling of the Indicator number, the ‘must-go’ game will be played during that session, if the maximum is reached after the calling of the Indicator number, the ‘must-go’ will be played on the next session. The designated game on which the ‘Must Go’ game will be played shall be communicated to all players at the start of the session. There is no consolation prize in the Twoonie Progressive Game.
